Obi's new haircut...

...so, Obi has been shedding all over the place! :( I finally got so annoyed after he ruined my nice clean floors with a new layer of hair in less than a day that I took Ali's idea and got him shaved! Such a great investment! He doesn't look too bald and he seems SO happy that it was totally worth it! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

I know this is one day late, but I figured it was better late than never! :) I wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to my amazing Mom and Mother-In-Law! We were so lucky to be able to spend time with both of them on Mother's Day, and I hope they both had a wonderful day too!

Penguins!

I was lucky enough to get to hold and pet penguins! I actually grew up wanting to be a penguin keeper at Sea World and loved anything to do with Penguins, so I was so excited to meet a few in person! :)

Christy and Ryans Engagement Party!

My Mom and I hosted Christy and Ryans Engagement Party on May 2nd for 60 ppl.! It turned out so wonderful and the weather, which has been wavering between comfortable and hot, was perfect! The party was held outdoor's at my Mom and Mark's house and we served appetizers, Italian food, and dessert (cream puffs, tiramisu, and homemade cupcakes). We also served sangria, wine, and beers...along with non-alcoholic drinks :). Thank you to everyone who came and all those who helped out to make it such a fabulous evening! Congrat's Christy and Ryan...we can't wait for the big day!! :)

Easter!

We had two Easter celebrations this year and got way too much candy...I have every candy dish in my house filled trying to get everyone else to eat it for me! One of the best parts of Easter though was playing egg hunt with my cute cousins... :)

David's Birthday!

My, cute-as-ever, Husband had his big day this last week and we celebrated quite a few times, with quite a few people, but here are the pictures from his party with my side of the family! :) It was a banana theme, because he loves almost anything banana, so I made him a Banana Carmel cake, which I will be putting the recipe for up on my other blog, and my Mom gave him all sorts of cool foods made with banana. We also had his party at one of his favorite restaurants...Joe's BBQ in Gilbert! :)

Weekend Trip to California

David and I planned to take a quick "one-dayer" trip up to Big Bear to try out the new snowboards we had gotten, but since I officially have the weekends off :) we decided to make it into a romantic weekend for the two of us! We flew into San Diego instead of Ontario and stayed were able to stay on my Mom's boat. The first night we ate at Island Pasta and Moo Time Creamery, which has been a tradition for us since 1st visiting Coronado. The next morning we woke up quite early and took the agonizing 3 hour, twisting and winding, drive up to Big Bear. We had the greatest time snowboarding and we both LOVED our new boards, so it was definitley worth the 6 hours of driving on some of the scariest road ever! That rest of the weekend we did a lot of eating at our favorite places in Coronado, and actually were able to spend some time together...which has been rare for us the last few years... :)
